Niche removal creature for black midrange and sacrifice decks. Tragic Banshee offers conditional efficiency—a modest -1/-1 effect on entry becomes a one-shot kill if you've already sacrificed a creature or triggered morbid. The payoff is real in dedicated sacrifice strategies (Jund Midrange, Rakdos Sacrifice), but outside those shells it's a five-mana creature with a weak baseline effect, making it easy to replace with instant-speed removal or more efficient threats.
