Niche card draw engine for Mardu and Jeskai control decks, but the life gain is incidental and the discard requirement makes it awkward outside of specific graveyard-synergy shells. The three-card draw is solid if you're already filling your graveyard, but in most strategies you're better served by unconditional cantrips or card advantage that doesn't require setup.
