When The Reaper enters, put a -1/-1 counter on each of up to two target creatures. Whenever a creature an opponent controls with a -1/-1 counter on it dies, you may put that card onto the battlefield under your control. Do this only once each turn.

Niche graveyard reanimator for Jund sacrifice and -1/-1 counter strategies. The Reaper offers a unique angle on creature theft by leveraging -1/-1 counters, but the three-color mana requirement and reliance on opponents' creatures dying limits its appeal to very specific deck archetypes. Best in Commander builds already built around proliferate or infect mechanics where the counters have synergy.
