As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice half the lands you control, rounded up. Hexproof Lands you control have "{T}: Add three mana of any one color."

Niche mana acceleration for mono-green ramp decks, but the land sacrifice requirement severely limits its appeal. Tectonic Split demands you already control a critical mass of lands to justify the steep upfront cost—you're sacrificing half your mana base to turn the survivors into explosive three-mana producers. In Commander, this works only in dedicated land-heavy strategies like Omnath or Titania decks where you're already running 40+ lands and can recur sacrificed lands; in Legacy and Vintage, the speed disadvantage and vulnerability to land destruction make it a poor choice compared to established ramp like Exploration or Fastbond. Pass unless you're building a very specific land-recursion shell.
