Niche tempo creature for izzet spellslinger decks, but the activated ability requires heavy setup and competes with more efficient evasive threats in formats where it's legal. The scry effect has marginal value, and the power boost is inconsistent—you're paying {2}{U}{R} repeatedly for a gamble that rarely closes games faster than established alternatives like Murktide or Subtlety.
