Niche payoff card for five-color and converge strategies, but the mana cost and conditional effect limit its appeal. Snarl Song demands heavy color investment to generate meaningful value—at minimum you need three colors to create reasonably sized tokens and gain life—making it awkward outside dedicated five-color decks or converge-focused Commander builds. Even then, the six-mana floor is steep for what amounts to a token generator with incidental life gain, and decks chasing that effect typically have more efficient options available.
