Each opponent discards a card. You create a 1/1 black and green Pest creature token with "Whenever this token attacks, you gain 1 life."

Niche discard outlet for token and life gain strategies, but the effect splits awkwardly between two disparate goals and competes with more focused alternatives in each category. The Pest token is a marginal payoff—a 1/1 that gains a single life per attack is slow and easily blocked, making this a poor fit for aggressive decks. In Commander, there are better discard effects (Dark Deal, Necrogen Mists) and better token generators (Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer) that don't require you to compromise on either axis.
