Defender When this creature enters, mill two cards. (Put the top two cards of your library into your graveyard.) As long as there is a Lesson card in your graveyard, this creature can attack as though it didn't have defender.

Niche milling enabler for self-mill and Lesson-focused strategies. Platypus-Bear fills a defender slot while fueling your graveyard and conditionally unlocking as an attacker once you've cast or milled a Lesson card, but the payoff is narrow and the body is fragile. Best suited to casual Commander decks built around mill synergies or Strixhaven block limited formats; in constructed, more efficient milling and evasion options are readily available.
