Target player reveals their hand, then you choose a card other than a basic land card from it. Search that player's graveyard, hand, and library for all cards with the same name as the chosen card and exile them. Then that player shuffles.

Niche hand disruption and library exile for Commander control and mill strategies. Lobotomy offers unique utility by removing all copies of a target card from an opponent's hand, graveyard, and library, which can cripple combo decks or strip key threats before they resolve. However, the high mana cost and sorcery speed limit its impact compared to cheaper discard or permanent exile effects, making it best suited for slower, tutor-heavy metas where hitting the right card justifies the investment.
