Solid mana rock and lord for mono-color and two-color decks. Heraldic Banner pulls double duty as both ramp and a relevant lord effect, making it particularly strong in aggressive strategies where the +1/+0 boost closes games faster than a typical mana rock. Best in Commander and Pioneer where the lord effect has more impact, though it's a reasonable budget alternative to more efficient ramp in constructed formats.
