Niche removal spell for red midrange and aggressive decks, but faces stiff competition from more efficient alternatives. At five mana, Heated Argument demands a graveyard setup to justify its cost—the 6 damage to a creature is reasonable, but the conditional 2 damage to the controller rarely closes games faster than a direct burn spell or creature-based threat. Play it only if your deck is already built around graveyard synergies and needs the flexibility of creature removal.
