Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. Whenever you cast a Lesson, Saga, or Shrine spell, put a +1/+1 counter on another target creature you control.

Reliable tutor and lord for Lesson, Saga, and Shrine strategies. Guru Pathik fills two roles efficiently: it tutors your key payoff cards on entry and then pumps your board every time you cast them, creating a snowball effect that rewards deck-building around these card types. Best in Commander and Pioneer where dedicated Lesson or Shrine shells can reliably trigger both abilities, though the narrow typing limits its appeal to generalist decks.
