Niche counter synergy piece for +1/+1 counter strategies, but the effect is too narrow and mana-intensive to compete with established ramp or creature enhancement in most formats. Best as a role-player in dedicated counter-focused Commander decks where you're already running payoffs like Ozolith or Hardened Scales, but even there it's a flex slot rather than a core inclusion.
