Ward {2} provides meaningful protection in Commander and Pioneer, where the deck can reliably trigger increment multiple times per turn with cantrips and mid-cost interaction. Best in decks built around cheap spells and card draw where you'll consistently exceed the creature's power and toughness thresholds.
