Niche aggressive creature for Eldrazi strategies, but the damage output is too slow and conditional to compete with efficient removal and faster threats in Modern and Pioneer. First strike provides some evasion in combat, yet the life drain trigger requires you to be already ahead on board presence—a luxury aggressive decks rarely have. Better suited to casual Eldrazi builds where you're already committed to the colorless theme.
