Reliable threat escalation for Boros aggro and midrange decks. Figure of Destiny rewards mana investment with a clean growth path—starting as a 1/1 that scales into a 2/2, then a 4/4, and finally an 8/8 flyer with first strike. The flexibility to grow at your own pace makes it excellent in Commander and a solid role-player in Modern Boros strategies where you're already spending red-white mana. Best in decks that can reliably generate surplus mana in the mid-game; less impressive if you're tight on resources.
