Niche hybrid payoff for devotion and sacrifice strategies, but the conditional effects require specific mana commitments that limit flexibility and the individual modes don't justify the five-mana cost in most contexts. Best in dedicated {W}{B} decks that can reliably produce double white or double black, where it offers either modest reanimation or creature removal—neither powerful enough to compete with format staples at the same cost.
