If five or more mana was spent to cast that spell, this creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn instead.

Reliable tempo creature for blue control and spellslinger decks. Deluge Virtuoso combines an immediate tempo advantage—tapping a blocker or threat on entry—with a scaling damage clock that rewards casting instants and sorceries. The stun counter mechanic makes it particularly effective in formats with instant-speed interaction, and the Opus ability turns each spell into incremental pressure. Fits well in Pioneer and Modern control shells where you're already running interaction, though it demands a spell-heavy build to maximize the damage potential.
