Niche protection spell for white control and defensive strategies. Dawn's Truce offers a flexible instant-speed answer to board wipes and targeted removal, but the gift mechanic creates a significant downside—giving your opponent a card draw often costs you more tempo than the protection gains you back. The indestructible bonus only triggers if you accept that drawback, making this a narrow fit for decks that can afford the card disadvantage or that specifically abuse the gift trigger. Playable in Commander politics builds or as a one-of in Pioneer/Modern control sideboards, but outclassed by unconditional protection like Teferi's Protection or Malakir Rebirth in most shells.
