Niche finisher for mono-black midrange and Commander, but the seven-mana cost and dependence on Swamp count severely limit its appeal. The lifelink cushions the damage output, but you're paying a premium for a creature that only threatens when you've already invested heavily in black mana acceleration. Better alternatives exist at this cost in most formats.
