Niche card draw for multicolor decks, but the discard requirement severely limits its appeal. Brilliant Spectrum demands you splash multiple colors just to break even on cards—in a four-color deck you're drawing four and discarding two for a net of +2 cards at four mana, which is slower than established draw engines like Rhystic Study or even basic cantrips in most formats. The converge mechanic is interesting in Commander five-color strategies, but even there the discard cost makes it a marginal include when better options exist.
