Niche scry engine for historic-focused decks. Artificer's Assistant pairs flying evasion with incremental card selection, but the scry trigger requires a critical mass of artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas to generate meaningful value. In dedicated Esper or Izzet historic shells in Pioneer and Commander it can smooth draws, though it competes with more efficient cantrips and card advantage engines that don't require deck-building constraints.
